So .. I´m in Mexico visiting my wife and we were away for a few days, just got back to a big wet surprise, it turns out the embassy mailed out the PGR request letter to her, the regular mail one I mean and well, it was thrown on the floor outside our place and it got soaked, some parts were dry bust most of it wet, we got it dry with the blowdryer lol ... we´re gonna try and see if we can get it with it, no ink stains or anything the writing is perfect so who knows it might work!

Hers also says for temporary residence must be the standard wording, not sure when it was delivered so it took about 15 days give or take a couple. Nothing so far on the waybill we sent so crossing fingers that they take it, we´re taking the envelople and everything to explain what happened, so in a way yay!

I believe if they dont accept the one that got wet.
because you sent a prepaid waybill they will issue another one anyways,

oh right! she got the regular mail one too... I thought they would for sure send it to my address in Canada since I wrote that one as the contact address duh! We´re going to the PGR on monday, I´ll post once we get a yes or no on the letter.

Yeah I got two (one regular and one pre paid way bill). First one said Temporary Resident. 2nd said Permanent lol

That usually means the visa has been issued! Or approved anyway. I can't believe I have already forgotten but I know that seeing a Canadian address means the visa is ready to go.

Yep yep! Ours was changed to our Canadian address a few days after the PPR! So that´s got to be a good sign, right?

We just looked up my husbands client I'd from his old work permit when he was a refugee. And the client I'd is a different number than the one we got with the PR application.!! I wonder why yours is the same? And ours is different :S

That´s exactly how I feel. Since Im gonna be running all over the city I might just do it in sweats and sneakers haha. Im so nervous, mapping out my routes and getting spare change for the subway and cab money.

Is it a FOSS ID? We had like 3 different client IDs when we were there.

i dunno.

I just know all his refugee papers that we have now, say his client ID as a number starting with a 6. and now the uci for pr starts with an 8 lol
