It was reverse culture shock to his own culture for sure, it took him quite awhile to adjust, to be honest he is just settling now and next week will be our one year anniversary of his deportation. He was very much settled in Canada and it tore his life apart going back, but we believe this is fate making him make things right, it was also very hard on him living illegally and not being able to visit his family, so in a sense it was a blessing in disguise. Yeah, when it's finally over it will be for the best. Did he end up finding a job? I just realized I asked my husband and he never got back to me. He is still working at his Uncles restaurant, 100 pesos a day, so its not the best but at least its something, he is constantly looking for something better though !TSauretBaxter said:
