aww that would be nice! But we will be flying from mexico city and west jet doesn´t go there. I think pretty much the only option is aircanada (because that´s the only one that doesn´t go through the states).

yeah pretty much just air canada. its to much hassle to try and get a transit visa.
well hopefully they dont charge to much! it would be interesting to know though..

Nessa - It's good you're going direct! Connecting through the US is too much hassle even without needing an In Transit visa. I've had nothing but trouble, and after the last time, I will not be doing it again. It's the last thing anyone needs when they'll go through enough landing in Canada.

really!? we flew to mexico on march 31 2012 and we still got 2 bags free each. so 4 bags free.
maybe the person made a mistake for us ! we got lucky than!

So it´s one bag free per person and then 25 for the first extra bag and 35 for the second extra?

No AC is free the first one, and $20 the second. I'm not sure why Canadiangirl78 is getting different rates. It must be where she is flying from or she is on a partner airline.

yeah. we had 7 checked bags(i know seems like alot. but we pretty much packed up our life and brought it to mexico, well not really alot of it went to storage at my parents place... but we have alot of clothes and electronics and stuff ) and 3 carry on. between me and my husband.
also we had our dog kennel to. but that was $50 dollars alone.

it was the worst day ever!!.
and because of all the lifting of the bags from here to there to over there and over there.
my husband slipped a disc in his back. so he was in pain and weak for 2.5 months!!! (he had to see 2 chiros and a doctor, and take a bunch of pain medicine) his back was finally 100% better in the middle of june. i felt so bad for him!

anyways we made it alive and we figure when we go back. we are either mailing our crap or throwing a bunch of it out. it was such a pain in the A**, to have all that luggage hahaha. never again!

and someone said that ecase doesnt change to "in process" untill after they verify the relationship is genunie

Not true, my original eCas said "in process" before my interview had been completed. I find eCas to be very inconsistent, sometimes they'll update it, sometimes they wont. I now check it every day hoping to see an update. ???

because its been 4 months since ours was transfered and i am sure hoping it wouldnt take 4 months to verify our relationship is genunine! haha.

i stopped checking mine for 2 weeks. than i got a feeling that it will change. so i started checking it again.. but of course it didnt.

i bet they wont even update yours before you get the visa!. they'll just send you the PPR probably by the end of august!! and you wont have to worry about ecase anymore!. ;D
