I just came back from the embassy, and apparently I need it because I'm from Tijuana, so if you've lived in the USA or in the "Area Fronteriza" (Border Area) you need to get the FBI. They must think there's no damn fence.

They told me that I get the fingerprints done at the PGJ (Procuraduria General de Justicia).

Does anyone know if I can pay at a bank?

Glad you were able to get some answers. Still a big pain in the behind, but at least you know why. We paid by money order.

I sometimes wonder if the immigration officers lurk this forum and high five each other every time they delay someone's application. I can totally picture a room full guys in suits with a beer in hand joking about it. Something like this:

Honestly you are doing so well to have gone 10 months I am already crazy and I havnt seen him for 2 months I cant even imagine at 10 months.. yes everything you are saying is very true we try to concentrate on the future.. theres good days and bad.. keeping busy helps but I always miss him and always feel alone but thank you for your words we will all get through this!
So what kind of timelines are you expecting with the extra paperwork involved with having a past deportation..? I was told approx 6 months for a normal case with mexico city and add 2 months for deportation... is that what you were thinking??

My fiance had an exclusion order with a one year ban, since he followed the order and left the country when asked and we have the record of departure, he will apparently not require an ARC as he will not return to Canada before the exclusion order expires and will be eligible to come back into the country, so it really depends on what kind of order he was given and when it expires to determine if he will actually have to go through the ARC process. I have heard several time lines for how long it takes but nothing definate, I would say an extra couple months would be a good estimate.

I didnt make a column for the VO AOR since no one was receiving them lol, but let me add one in, I confused your message thinking it was the file transfer on June 4, I will go back in and change it and add a column for VO AOR

I also wanted to say, yes 10 months is a long time but you would be suprised at how fast it has passed. Some have waited much longer than me. The first few months are the hardest because you still feel that empty spot, but that will pass. We have our ups and downs, days were we feel like we will never see eachother, but we always remind eachother to keep our eye on the prize and that this small amount of time compared to the rest of lives in nothing ! Just be sure to talk every day, skype is great so you can acutually see eachother and its free ! We dont know what we would do without it. So keep smilin cause you are moving in the right direction !
