We are at 16 months in the process - waiting for an interview in Trinidad - and 2 years married on February 7th. I sent an email last week to them saying "OK, now we are two years married and well over a year in the process, let's get on with it" (in different words). I'll let you all know if something happens, but so far we have been waiting 4 months just to get a date for the interview.

i'm curious about that fact def , i've heard something about it and it's in the form ... there's a question that state

" Married for minimum 2 years" to me it's clear... a pre-filter (what's the point to ask that if not.. they have the date of marriage into forms too..)

I'm sure its one of the factor that put you up in prior or not.

i would be curious to do a survey here... ppl over a year or that gonna cross the year soon and waiting for news :

In my case 1 year and half

That would be a good indicator to look at.

My MPs office got back to me today after I submitted a request to his office on Monday. IRCC said they are waiting on the security check as it is done through a third party and they have no control over how long that third party comes back with results. So far everything was passed with 23 days left to go until our 1 year mark. Although we're not happy that the process is taking so long at least our application isn't just sitting there. And I am also happy that my MP was able to get back to me in a short space of time. It would be nice though if IRCC would update ECAS or the GC key so that we aren't sitting here getting more and more frustrated.

Well as Representative we should be able to get those infos too but they don't give us a thing besides "it's in process" which means.. absolutely nada!

Very true. The whole process is inconsistent and haphazard. They need to revamp this if they plan on allowing more entries into Canada. This is ridiculous

i mean PA is signing a form that is a consent for those infos... doesn't make sense that a minister from politic can know more than us,

I wonder if it is coincidence - we still have an interview after all - it's still a hoop to jump through.

Our political representative in my region (Quebec Political Lieutenant ) will do a further check on my current app status, just asked them to look at , they have priority lines.

Ugh, to be so lucky to have the CPC-Mississauga to treat ones files, the ones in my "group" of people who sent in their applications and were transferred to Mississauga have gotten their decision made around the 6 month mark (so, now, February)

Nope. But I am not even close to the year mark since I sent in my application, so I can`t complain too much, since technically they`re still within their timeline.

Confirmed by (Quebec Political Lieutenant ) ... we are on wait for CSQ, nothing has been done in Mexico yet until they have that paper...so it won't be moving until CSQ is delivered.

So we are at Mexico since October and nothing has been really done on it... 4 months of nothing.

They will do the Eligibility and finishing the application as soon as they get this confirmation of acceptance.

We def gonna have to ask for a medical extension or have to redo the fu*** exam!
