OK - I may have overreacted - maybe they are just re-booking the interviews for TODAY, as today is a Mexican holiday. My bad! lol

You think that they would know not to schedule interviews today, its Mexican Independence Day, it happens every year on September 16.

Maybe someone in the Mexican embassy in Havana prefers the Aztec calendar:

The significance of this day
Day Xochitl (Flower) is governed by Xochiquetzal, Flower Feather, as its provider of tonalli (Shadow Soul) life energy. Xochitl is a day for creating beauty and truth, especially that which speaks to the heart who knows it will one day cease to beat. Xochitl reminds us that life, like the flower, is beautiful but quickly fades. It is a good day for reflection, companionship and poignancy; it is a bad day for repressing deep-seated wishes, desires and passions.

I think almost everyone is trying to get to Trinidad for interviews anyway - because Mexico is impossible in terms of obtaining a visa. The problem is, then, that with this added issue, EVERYONE will want to go to Trinidad and there simply aren't enough interview spaces to be processed expeditiously, so people are going to wait longer than 6 months for an interview in Trinidad. So yeah...I guess it's going to be a shitshow for everyone else, too.
Oh wow 6 months for an interview.. that is so long... this is getting more and more ridiculous!

For those that have contacted your MP what is the best way to do this? Email, phone or in person?
I don't know if I recommend it at this time.

We tried that, just as a test. Asked if they could give stats on our application also advised we are well aware we are 6 months from the estimated completion time. More or less we just wanted to know if there is something that can do with the inconsistency there and the fact that there are many applications going over at the Mexico VO.

We wanted to see if they could perhaps give a nudge or something while not expecting them to do much. The response we received is that they can do an inquiry but at this time they are busy with elections. Basically nothing will be done until after.

I reached out to my MP before elections and they were no help at all.

Yeah, idk if El Salvador is just the odd one but their police certificates expire after 90 days and we last submitted it in May. Hoping you hear something soon! This process is stressful as is, I'm just hoping it ends soon for all of us & we can finally be with our loved ones.
In Nicaragua they expire in 60 days I believe :D haven't been asked for a new one but we also have not been transferred yet so could be coming. We kind of expected that.

Our other theory is that the BGC is being started in Sydney as others have speculated it is only sent to Mexico for eligibility so maybe they don't need another one? Who knows!

It's all a guessing game I guess.

Haha yeah my husband also figured it was bound to happen. Who knows! I hope that’s the case, since my file sat in Sydney for so long.

Thank you both!! Just always like to make sure it’s getting where it’s supposed too. I have looked over number and it is the correct one I have. So I guess I just wait. Maybe I will ask husband to just drop in and check. Lol. Hoping for 14 days!!! Thanks. Can’t wait for this to be over!!!!!
were you able to track? We are 14 days no update. Others had theirs processed and complete in the past month. Mexico is slow.

Lol mine either , I’m lucky if I get a response . I called yesterday and was told again it’s a busy time with elections and to wait until that was over to follow up .

Did anybody else received a request for an updated Schedule A?
We submitted one on the original application, but they just asked us for details of my wife's activity after the application was sent. Hoping that's a good sign.
