- PPR : 19th march 2019.
- Passport sent via VAC : 21th march
- Expiry of the visa : 8th may 2019

The applicant is planning to land in canada on the 4th of may at Toronto international airport

Now, is anyone could give us some lights about what will happen at the landing airport ???
What should we expect ???
Will the passport be stamped with some kind of entry permit for 6 months or so in order to get the PR card ???

all I know is that they might ask some questions in regards to the information you put on the application. depending on the immigration officer. they will ask about funds bringing into the country. PR cards are sent out after you arrive so make sure you have the Canadian address on your COPR

Mine took 4 weeks after to receive the letter that it was sent to Mexico after medicals. Feb 27 it was sent and I still don’t have confirmation that they started processing in Mexico .

I have a friend who is also a feb applicant and like you she is waiting for interview. Spouse is in the DR. She went to her Mp and got absolutely nowhere . I hope you all get news soon, and I really hope this is not going to become habit for the Mexico office

Ordered notes. It says relationship genuine but are confused why non accompanying dependants were examined and assessed and not coming. Lol.
Ridiculous......it says my husband will come get settled and if they wish they can come. And they were examined because that is protocol.

Yes her mp only said that if further investigation is needed than cic can take the time they need . Therefore the 12 month timeline no longer exists

It’s nuts , hers is the same . And like I have said before , a lot of people don’t bring the kids right away . I do hope I don’t run into this, because like you my step children are not coming right away

It didn’t even say that we were queued for interview. The Mp got that they are just processing.
