Do we need to match the duties exactly word to word with those listed in NOC or similar duties would also do ?
eg.
Computer network technicians perform some or all of the following duties:
NOC Version :
1. Maintain, troubleshoot and administer the use of local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, computer workstations, connections to the Internet and peripheral equipment.
2. Implement network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimize server performance
3. Provide problem-solving services to network users
etc. etc.
My Version:
Maintain and Administer Local Area Network, Wide Area Networks
Managing and maintain core network architecture (MPLS & IP)
Configure and setup Network Firewalls, Routers and Switches
Maximizes network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network issues
Securing network systems by establishing and enforcing policies, defining and monitoring access.
etc. etc.
Please let me as I may need to get new reference letter in case word to word match is needed..... Sad
