I applied for winter Session i have Few friends Living There Its a nice place to live and You are not eligible to work for first 6 Months off campus and yeah after obtaining your workpermit you can find work easily and before 6 months you can cash jobs Which are illegal

Nice to hear that you are already there at MUN.

Well I am a third year undergraduate student of IIT Kharagpur, accredited to be one of the best technological institution in India.
I have been offered a research internship by a professor at MUN for the summer of 2013. I will be paid as I assist them in the research project for 2 months.

I am finding difficulty with my VISA category, especially about the LMO. My professor says that I do not require a LMO as short duration interns do not require one. Am not sure under which category will I be exempted from LMO and can go on a work permit without it. If you can help, please reply.

it works out cheaper to rent a 3BR apartment n have 6 ppl living together .
