Well from what I understood...CPP-Ottawa is just 'helping' Buffalo out with sending out requests--like helping to reduce some of the workload. My email does state that I should communicate with Buffalo and NOT Ottawa so I think my file is still at Buffalo.

Did u get from CPP-Ottawa or just Buffalo?

Yes, buffalo applicant. I'm a sponsored wife. my husband's e-cas still says, APPLICATION RECEIVED on JAN 13, 2011. :) still no update. :)
 
same here.. they recieved on jan 28 though.. lets wait n see

Medical sent to Ottawa by DMP: Sept. 08

No update on E-Case. Still says "Application received on......."
 
Hello there! I just want to share my timeline:

Application received in CEM thru AINP-Semiskilled(PNP): April 7, 2011
AOR & RPRF received thru email: April 19, 2011
Medical sent by CEM: July 13, 2011 received here in Canada: August 2, 2011
Medical done: August 4, 2011 (physical & xray) August 10, 2011 (bloodtest)
PPR: waiting :)

ECAS Status: We received your application and is already in process.

I have a status change in my e-CAS. It says "your medicals have been recieved." It does not tell me when it was recieved......see my signature for the timeline..
I dont know if its a good news or it will still take a long ass time....

Just got an update on my e-cas.. Medical result have been received!!! Hmmmm.. Sounds good to me! Thank God..

Hey guys, I had been checking my case through ECAs but I am confused as to how you see you case status and what step are you. Can you please give me the instructions step by step how you get to see the status mentioned in your ECAS? As for me this is how do it:
1. Type client id/last name/birthday/country
2. Then it shows the mailing address
3. Then I see my name in the bottom then I clicked on the name
4. After clicking my name..it shows “application was received last oct…2010”
5. That’s it…is there anything I have to click next to show more info? I tried to click the very bottom of it which says “application outside Canada” and it bring me to different step with say “IN PROCESS”…are those information the information showing the updates?...PLEASE HELP!!!
 
normally u click below your name and address where it says 'application recived ' and then it will take you to another page where it says ' application recieved on aug 26' below that if you are lucky it will say medical results recieved... (i am not sure if that s lucky..hhehe)
also regarding the ecas tracker dont worry too much about sharing information... after all what people can do with that dob and client id #. if immigration has to do anything , they need a whole lot of information as u know from filing all these forms .. even you have to give ur brothers , sisters name.. so i dont think with these 3 information sharing with ecas tracker you r going to lose your life in future..


again.. its ur choice.. i am just telling my opinion.. may be u could be right too... u never know hey..
 
Good morning guys!
I am busy reading all the forum boards and looks like when they say " medicals have been recieved", that means ur case is almost approved and is awaiting the final paperwork. The background check and criminal checks are done before they put : medicals have been recieved".
I ahve also read most of them getting their PPR withing 2 weeks after e-cas updates to "medicals have been recieved".

We should all be getting our PPR in next 2-4 weeks if the above process is still followed by the V.O's...

Hopefully that's true. Hey hey hey. I read the same too. One guy got next day itself after this status Let s wait n watch. Bring more good news like this mr Sam .

Kind of curious though they have different ways. Cos just wondering how rossei and few others took a different route. I mean I am kind of curious how everything works in visa office.

Let see who bring the good news first. Hope all of us same day
