It's NOT 90 days. My daughter's medicals have been under review for 110 or so days already.

Totally agree with you.

I got my passport request tonight 9:15pm.

Hang on everyone! Good luck to you all!

Sending passports first thing in the morning.

I hope this is an indicator for my case, I should then get mine in less than two weeks.

I hope you will get yours soon too.

Just an update... ECAS is still in process. It did not update to medicals received before PPR.

Congratulations! Very happy to hear this news.

I got hope now that CIC will respond within 3 months of review. My case is also similar to yours, I also had benign mass in my small intestine removed through key hole surgery last Dec. I got a letter from the surgeon that I donot need any further treatment. I gave this leter and also the pathology report of the mass that got removed to the doctor during my medicals.

Just one request. Can you share what additional steps you did like faxing reports etc to CIC after the medicals. So that I will follow your path.

Folks,

I have a question. If anyone medicals goes under review and CIC needs additional test to be carried out, how CIC informs to the applicant? Via email or via mail? Am asking since my medical is under review and my mailing address is still not updated, in case CIC sends a letter for additional steps after review instead of email.

Thanks

And yes there is hope.

Believe me, i did what i could possibly do to get updates on my file. I tried gcms, my MP and sending a fax asking for status on my medicals which were under review in Ottawa RMO.

I' m not sure if the above actions made a difference though. One thing i know about my last GCMS was that meds are in progress and it also mentioned this "pending only 2x meds plus RPRF". So i knew that it was just my meds that they needed to issue PPR and all other checks were cleared.

CIC has not asked for any additional test or document.. nor did i voluntarily sent them any. I just gave my DMP everything upfront.

Good luck.

Technically, if you've provided your email ad, they'll send it to your email.

Why haven't you updated CIC of your address yet? You should and must. Please do it right away. This may lead to delays.

Thanks for your response. My medicals are under review only from Fe 26th. So I will give it atleast a month and then order GCMS.
Also they have requested my PCC again.

Thanks for your suport. I am confident that I will get PPR within 3 months of my medical review.

One more question. I just gave letter from my surgeon stating that I donot require any further treatment for the GIST surgery I have undergone and also the pathology report of my tumor which the surgeon removed.

I donot have any other reports regarding this. Are these enough?

I think that will be enough. I never had a recommendation letter from my surgeon back home that i don't need any further treatment or medication but i did gave my DMP my pathology report. I think my DMP's report that my meds were all normal made a difference.

Just to update you guys, ECAS changed to "medicals have been received" and "decision made" last night.

Good luck to you all.
