I e-mailed OttPilot three or four times, and every time they confirmed that my daughter's results were under review. Besides, I ordered notes, and according to them the rest of us passed medicals, while my daughter's medical status was "sent" and "commenced e-Med"

I have similar issue. CIC called me on Dec 30, and told me that my daughter's medical were sent for review. No news further. I did medical in June 2012.
My CIC officer called me on 8:00am and told me that she needs opinion form medical center.

My notes showed that here email to medical center asking for review since Jan 02. All other member showed medical passed and valid up to May 2014.

I don't know what to do. So long waiting.

No, my surgey was done back home 6 years ago.

Good to know that you gave every supporting medical document you have from the surgery because these could strengthen your justification for passing the immigration medicals. Not declaring any medical condition may lead to further delays or who knows... A possible rejection if they found out you withheld information. Then that would have been your biggest regret. Take my word for it.. you did the right thing. Better wait a little longer than wait on nothing.

Best of luck to you and to all of us you are waiting. Give it 90 dAys from "medicals sent", then email CIC for status update (that was the advice i got from 2 immigration consultants. My MP told me to give them another month).

Bdw, from asking and surfing this forum, average time for medical under review is about 3 months. So stay positive.

Any news about your PPR or any other queries from CIC?

Appreciate if you can share it with us as I am curious. My ECAS still didn't change to medicals received.
When did yours change?

Hello.

Nothing. No news. No updates. No additional test asked.

Ecas is still in-process after 9 weeks since CIC received my meds.

Thanks for response. Did you get any response from CIC like medicals under review or something?

Like i said, ecas is still in-process.

I did email CPP back in late jan or early feb and they replied that there is an on-going review for my meds. My MP found out the same. I also sent an inquiry via fax to Ottawa RMO and they mentioned the surgery i had back in 2007.

Kindly refer to my previous replies and posts on this thread for your reference. I will update you as soon as i hear something.

Meanwhile, i'm like you and the others, highly anticipating a word from CIC. The wait is indeed stressful but i try not to think about it much. A decision will come for sure but sadly, nobody really knows when.

Hi,

I'm in the same situation. All my family members finished medical check in December, and the results are still under review. I asked them twice about the processing time, and ottawa office answered that my application is currently in process as per regulatory procedures.
Yes... they require so much patience to us.....

Thanks for your response. You are shortly completing 90 days of review period and the waiting will soon be over for you.

I just completed my medicals on Feb 18th. I can see that people who completed medicals at the same time have already received PPR and some have even landed. I just received email from CIC that my medicals are received and they are under review. As I informed I just had a key hole surgery in Dec in Toronto. Though the doctor didn't ask anything I mentioned it to him. Not sure if I did the right thing or not.

Another question, are you on BOWP?

Yeah, that's true. We can't really do anything about the wait and being patient is easier said than done. Don't worry, our time will come too.

There are a few people who are waiting longer than us so i don't want to complain much though it's tough not to. LOL.

Btw, is it your family member's or your medicals that is under review? What do you think is the reason the meds is being reviewed? (If you've mentioned the reason on a previous post, i apologize for not reAding it).

Anyhow, good luck to you as well and keep posted.

Yes, the 90 days will soon be over for me but that is still not a guarantee that my meds will be cleared. Who knows how slow or efficient the Ottawa RMO could be right? No idea whatsover my friend.

But i'm still keeping my hopes high and i wish you're right that it'll be over for me soon. Thanks if it were to come true. :D

I think being honest on your meds will pay-off. Always remember that with regard to CIC, nobody can ever be sure what they could find or not find out. Better be on the safe side all the time. Again, i agree with your declaration of a previous surgery.

Good luck to you.

And btw, yes, i'm on a BOWP.

Hi Guys,

Best of luck for the folks who are in waiting post medicals due to review. Add me as another case for the same. I did my medicals on 26th Feb and my file is under review due to slight mark on left lung as per chest x ray report.

In my case ECAS is still application received, No update for medicals results received, no update for my file under process..no request for RPRF/Biodata yet. Anyone with similar status?

Thanks

One more question: Does BOWP application will have any affect if medicals under review w.r.t PR CEC application?

Wait who said it's a 90 day wait?

I don't think so my friend.

This was the approx. wait time given by 2 consultants i asked in edmonton. Even my MP told me that as per CIC, it takes about 3 months. But they also mentioned that others could take longer than that.

I hope not on our cases.
