we had done our medicals on July 18 any guesses how long it take to get PPR?
My VO is Berlin and the result will send to London CHC. From where we get the PPR from Berlin or London?

As u mentioned in ur last post that VO never updated ur Ecas untill the visa was issued to you and moreover you advised to send the query directly to VO... Can u please tell me is it advisable to send at this time now???

My medicals were received by London VO on 20 Jul'11...Do u think will they reply to my query and moreover on previous occasions its all been done by my consultant...so its OK if I send the query from my end and on WHICH ADD/E MAIL DO I NEED TO FORWARD THE SAME..PLZ HELP...

Its still early to send a query for them, and if you send them an email requesting update they will reply similar to this:

We have received your medical results and documents.

Background checks are currently in process for your application. We will contact you again as soon as we are able to. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide an accurate timeframe for when a visa will be issued.

Yes you can send queries, because your r the main applicant.

For Sending Email there is a web-form; https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/cicemail/intro-eng.aspx?mission=london : but this for London Visa Office, you may search for your right VO.

Hi everyone,

What the hell is wrong with people in CHC London every time there's new update on processing time, now they have increased the processing time from 16 to 20 months?? When did that happened??

Can anyone tell me now: I am finished with my medicals in the month of JULY11,so what next now?? Do I need to wait 4-5 after months after I am done with my medicals or it may take another 8-9 months for these guys for PPR update, as my RPRF fees was also dispatched on 20 JULY'11.

My last document was submitted in JUNE'10.

I have no words man....excellent guys...keep making people wait.....

do you mean that this processing time change will affect people who has sent their medicals and fee and ar now waiting for the last stage of ppr?
when did this time lines changed? whats the source?

The change in processing period for application's submitted Pre June'10 is already update on www.cic.gc.ca so you can check there.

Man there is no time criteria, as per my case i waited for three months to receive my PPR, Good Look.

today one of my friends got his PR Card, he landed in May same as you. Good Luck

I landed on 2nd may, didn't get PR card, called them 2 weeks ago only to be told that there is a problem with photo. They'll send me a letter now which can take upto 2 months and than i'll have to send my pics again and then again few months to receive my PR card.

My photos were taken as per their requirement of photos. PR card system sucks !!!

Had I not called them, they wouldn't have checked it and issued a letter.

All those who are waiting for PR cards over 2 months should call and find out the progress of their cards.

Oh ,it means this time line change is for pre jun 2010? my application is post jun 2010.
does this means that my processing time is still same?

I think this processing time has changed only for pre june 2010 application due to backlog so post june 2010 applicant should not worry and most probably applicant who has already done medical in last 3-4 months including pre june they are getting PPR..

so guys no worries..

Lastly I observe that in last 2-3 months maximum pre june applicant has got PPR or visa comapre to post june..so may be now in next 1-2 months post june applicant can receive some good news..
