'MEDICALS SENT'-------London CHC------Waiting for Next Stage (probably PPR)

Hi all,

I have applied for my PR under FSW in Sept'2009 and since then waiting eagerly for my PR.

With god's grace I am done with my medicals on 16 Jul'11 and same is received by LONDON VO on 20 July'11 along with my RPRF fees.

As I keep reading on this forum that it can take 2 years to get an application processed as I am pre June 2010 applicant..is it true that still its gone take that long from hereon? Actually Im already finishing 2 years since the time my application was filed.

Can anyone tell me how long is it gone take now from the time I'm done with medicals to get my passport request...I would request all who have already got visa as per my timeline or who have got their visa's stamped recently from LONDON VO.

Please share ur views....

I applied in May 2009, that means moreover 26 months from the date of application and still awaiting PPR! Did my Medicals and RPRF this May 2011 and guess what? I haven't even received the RPRF receipt!!!

Satdxb.... I've heard they usually send the receipt for landing fee! Is it true, if so then how long does it take?

I've heard that too, but I didn't get "Right of Permanent Residence" fee, the only receipt i got was for the initial processing fee.

Hi Azfar, your travelling will increase the time of your security checks. And the end result will be delay in PPR.

Its not a rule, i had in my passport a lot of stamps for many countries due to the type of my job; calm down my friend and everything will be fine.

Hi, if you have the connecting flight from Toronto to Calgary, you dont need to go to the immigration authorities. Just follow the sign "CONNECTING FLIGHTS". You can too get direct flights from Heathrow to Calgary.

Hi, due to the past strike of Toronto post, nowadays the mails are delayed. I had landed on 19th May, but still havent received the PR card.
So cant predict any calculation right now buddy.

Thanks Ray. You made me feel better. Because I also travel every 3 months to different countries mainly Europe due to work.

Its not a rule, i had in my passport a lot of stamps for many countries due to the type of my job; calm down my friend and everything will be fine.

My medicals were sent by my DMP from here and they told me to track the same with my file number and when I checked through the courier company website,as per the info given its been delivered on 20 JUL'11.

and as I mentioned in my post that I have also sent my original medical receipt and RPRF fees also through the letter which I received from the CHC end and thats been delivered on 19 Jul'11.


No I haven't got any confirmation from the CHC end so far.

Can u please share your application time period it will be helpful for me to understand and for others too..

hi, i am also wating fr the receipt..my medicals have been received by Lon VO on 23rd Jun 2011 but still no acknowledgement. as i know , they'll update the ecase as medicals receved and then we'll get the passport request..it takes app 2 months after the medicals received by VO(i think).

VO office usually do not confirm directly that they received the medicals, they will tell you check your courier, but you can send them an email requesting for update for your app status. And i do not recommend to wait for your eCas, because they updated mine after I got the Visa .
