Taking POF is a requirement . But whether they check is in their interests. I carried the POF but they just enquired the amount but did not check it.

thanx bro but r u sure we have no restrictions to show becoz in some other thread someone told me i have to show 23000 for 5 family member
did u show any money on airport

Hi, you have to carry the minimum required funds as per the CHC requirement. If they ask you to show, then only you have to show. In most of the cases they only ask how much funds are we carrying with us.

Cheers,,

Hello everyone,

I have done my meds fairly recently and CHC London received them by the 14th of this month (June 2011) after nearly a year of waiting "in process" . Throughout lasy year I was contacted by CHC London two-three times in which they asked for :

. Updated schedule 1/background decleration (at least twice)
. A photocopy of my passport biopage (although I have sent this with my full application package)
. Updated PCC from UK (where I am currently staying)

Interestingly I didn't submit a PCC from my home country with my initial application (as I couldn'et get), however just 2 months ago I managed to obtain that PCC after a protracted boring process. Exactly a month later , they send Meds+ RFPR fee, Which probably highlights the importance of these PCCs in processing our applications (I know some people who couldnt get these PCC for various reasons and are hoping to get everything done without them).

My question for respected members of this forum is: whats the possibility (in your opinon of course), that I will be asked for POFs again after doing Meds? I have submitted POFs in the form of a bank statment (with my initial application) and I was not requested to submit an updated version of this after that (until now!).

Many thanks for you all.

Hello Ryan Niazi,

Thanks my friend, I wish you a successful application too.
I really doubt that I am ahead of anyone, on the contrary I think my application has taken for ages. Here are the main milestones in my case:

Application received by CIC : June 8, 2009
First AOR : July 22, 2009
File transferred to CHC London: July 28, 2009
Full application sent to CHC London: October 2009
2nd AOR : 18 December 2009
According to e-cas: application was reviewed and started processing on May 18, 2010
Request for additional documents "see above" (two-three times) between May 18, 2010 and March 2011
PCC from my home country sent April 2011
MEDs+ RFPR Fee sent May 18 2011 (exactly one year after they started processing according to e-cas!)
Waiting for whatever is coming next !!

So in summary , my application is over two years old now ! Clealry a very slow progress (possibly owing to lacking PCC from my home country)

All the best once again.
