exactly same case like u i was required add doc in may2010 and again in march 2011 but i could not recieve letter that was sent in march2011 and in reply of enquiry VO asked same doc like u in may2011 that i sent in 17 june2011 so i should

I hope all goes well for you since now you have sent the required additional documents. Hopefully Meds are coming next and all the best for the rest of the journey. Have you been asked to send updated POFs at any time though?

I really doubt that I am ahead of anyone, on the contrary I think my application has taken for ages. Here are the main milestones in my case:

Application received by CIC : June 8, 2009
First AOR : July 22, 2009
File transferred to CHC London: July 28, 2009
Full application sent to CHC London: October 2009
2nd AOR : 18 December 2009
According to e-cas: application was reviewed and started processing on May 18, 2010
Request for additional documents "see above" (two-three times) between May 18, 2010 and March 2011
PCC from my home country sent April 2011
MEDs+ RFPR Fee sent May 18 2011 (exactly one year after they started processing according to e-cas!)
Waiting for whatever is coming next !!

So in summary , my application is over two years old now ! Clealry a very slow progress (possibly owing to lacking PCC from my home country)

Yeah buddy ... expect u passport anytime now from today to within next 8 - 9 days ... Cheers ..!!! If you sent it yourself and sent self addressed envelops along with ... keep checking with aramex .. just give ur phone number which is mentioned on self addressed envelop ... it may get a little frustrating ... but in the end its all worth it ...dont be nervous .... i too was when i got my DM only to realize that its a matter of 1-2 weeks before u get the passport ... so have fun and make merry ... All the best.

I got it by email, i think they start to using this method when they request for a passports.

Taking POF is a requirement . But whether they check is in their interests. I carried the POF but they just enquired the amount but did not check it.

You can either take cash or draft ...if u r an Indian and in Dubai .. u can open a scotia bank a/c and send money there ...
