Hey Guys,
my consultant says we can expect medical in 3-4 months after the receipt of Medical by CHC. ;) ;) ;) ;)
I have lived in three countries and from your experiences when can I expect my PPR?? July would be wonderful as I can land in summer with my little daughter. :) :) :) :) :)

Pls share your views.

When did you submit your medicals? what is your visa office? yes that's the usual practice once you submit the Medicals ideally you should be called for a visa to be stamped. But its not the case always. also there are cases they get the visa stamping very soon but some times it gets delayed on many circumstances for e.g. BG check etc..

I can remember that including myself there are members in the forum waiting more than 15 months after the medical (London VO)

hi guys this is my first post iam a post feb 2008 applicant and i did my medicals in may 2010 and i didnt get my ppr till date but today i was checking my ecase and i found that the address disappeared but there is no change in the ecase itself still in process so could this have any meaning or indication ????

this is probably due to data transfer activity they are doing at backend......CAIPS servers to GCMS......lots of us have no address in eCAS right now including myself........

hello every1,
Today my e-cas changed to decision made...donno when i will get my passports back?.My V.O is chc-london and i am in saudia.

Hi, Congratulations!

As far as I know, from London VO all passports are sent to Abu Dhabi and from there it is distributed through courier. Usualy Aramex. Takes around 10 to 14 days from the e-cas status change.

Good luck!

Hi Fadi, dissappearence of address is not an indication. Its just temporary, it will be back soon.Your security checks are going on , once they are over, you will receive your PPR.

Cheers...

I sent medical on 11 Jan 2011 London VO. Received forms-application form, dependent forms, PCC and Right of landing fee on 11/2/11 and sent back forms on 12/3/11.

On my case enquiry on 3/4/11 got reply "File awaiting officer Review. You will be informed if more information is required."

Could you please comment what this means in light of when they may issue PPR. What is the stage of the application? Ecas shows "in process" since July 2009.

You are true mate,

I've been awaiting for my second medial request, as it is already 16 months that I've done my medical last Nov 2009. So, if I get second medical request letter, hope not to be refused at this stage by CIC, it would be followed by the police verification of my current country. Isn't it?

Wish you all the best guys.

hi Friends
sorry that i was absent ....... i was busy with packing and other many little things.

i am flying on the 15th of this month. flying by Air Transat to Toronto. Anyone flying from London, i recommend this airline if u have cash issues (like me). they r very cheap. i bought mine for 260GBP. but the luggage allowance r not great. only 20kg (main luggage) and 5 kg (hand luggage). but again, u can buy lots of new things in Canada with the money u save by not flying with Air Canada/ British Airways (just my thoughts).

i will share with u my landing experience and any other thing that u need to know when i reach my dreamland.

good luck friends, who r waiting for PPR and visa......................

all the best to everyone........
