You are most welcome Biju. Once I get the PPR , you will be the first one to be invited to a Mansaf Party. I’m not suer if you know Mansaf. It is something that keeps you ... the whole life.

Dear All,

I have done my medical on Aug 30, 2010 and got ppr request on Dec 22, 2010 but due to some personal reasons i sent the requested items on Jan 4th,2011 and london office received it on Jan 10, 2011. After waiting more than one month i sent an email to london office they replied on Feb17, 2011 that soon you will get step 2 letter for visa issuance from london office and i am still waiting. Today its been 55 days since i sent the required items mentioned in PPR. CHECKING EMAILS EVERYDAY.

that's what happening to applicants from Pakistan so what I would advise you to be patient, I know it's hard but atleast you are near enough done.

hi buddy

i can understand ur tension, many guys got their visa issurance letter to CHC Islamabad in 40-50 days. but there are cases how got in 60-70 days too. and in ur case thy have replied to you very clearly tht u wil receive soon. so it means ur background check is almost over and its clear.

so no worries bro, ur letter of issue is on its way :D :D

Hi,

Just to share my experience with you.
I was informed by London VO in the month of AUG that they will send the PPR not before DEC/JAN11, so by mid DEC I sent them a queiry about the PPR request which they did not reply to for 3 weeks. Then on Jan the 11th I sent them another query which they replied to it by the 14th of JAN saying that they have sent me the PPR by mail, and they attached the PPR by e-mail. :D
Just to let you all know that until this day I haven't received that letter by mail, but thank God that I sent them another query and did not give up, otherwise I probably would have missed my 45 days dead line, and I would have still been waiting for that letter. :o :o
So bottom line don't just check you e-mail, but also check your mail box cause some people are getting a letter through post, and others are getting it by mail, so be on the safe side and check both.
Another advice is don't wait if they did not come back to you wait for another week and send them another query, keep following up on your PPR,. :D :D

Wishing you all the best and good luck :)

Is it tru that all medicals, no matter what office we are being dealt by are sent to Health Canada in Canada? and then they forward their decision back to the immigration office? i.e. London, Paris, Islamabad...
If that is true, now wonder there are such delays between Medicals sent and PPR if they have to review all medicals worldwide.
Anyone knows the answer?
