hi FFFF
i think when they ask for the new docs, they give a new BFD (Bring Forward Date) for ur file....e.g. if they ask u on the 1st January, 2011 for additional docs they will give ur file a new BFD may be for 1st March, 2011......as per my understanding only on that date the visa officer will open ur file to deal with ur case again and if he/ she finds the additional docs in the file he/ she will take the next steps to finalise ur case. if the additional docs r not in the file by the new BFD, then he/she will set another new BFD for the file....i think u got ur answer......sending docs asap might not help ur visa officer to open ur file before the BFD but it always helps to ensure that the people who r responsible to pass the additional docs to the visa officer gets enought time to do that
good luck......

If CHC London sends applicant a request of any kind of additional information such as updated schedules, PCC, Medical, etc. within a time frame (say 60 days). Do they pre-specify a date to review the incoming documents (say after 70 days from the date of the letter) or they review the incoming documents on the spot and decide the date of the next step? The purpose of my question is whether it is useful to expedite getting the updated documents and send it in an urgent manner or it just of no use as the review will be started at the pre-specified date.... Is it clear guys??? I think the answer of this question will shed some light on the process in CHC London and if anyone has to be relaxed and send the requested documents anytime within the given timeframe as it makes no difference. Please share your experience.
