hi FFFF

i think when they ask for the new docs, they give a new BFD (Bring Forward Date) for ur file....e.g. if they ask u on the 1st January, 2011 for additional docs they will give ur file a new BFD may be for 1st March, 2011......as per my understanding only on that date the visa officer will open ur file to deal with ur case again and if he/ she finds the additional docs in the file he/ she will take the next steps to finalise ur case. if the additional docs r not in the file by the new BFD, then he/she will set another new BFD for the file....i think u got ur answer......sending docs asap might not help ur visa officer to open ur file before the BFD but it always helps to ensure that the people who r responsible to pass the additional docs to the visa officer gets enought time to do that

good luck......

Hello everyone;
If CHC London sends applicant a request of any kind of additional information such as updated schedules, PCC, Medical, etc. within a time frame (say 60 days). Do they pre-specify a date to review the incoming documents (say after 70 days from the date of the letter) or they review the incoming documents on the spot and decide the date of the next step? The purpose of my question is whether it is useful to expedite getting the updated documents and send it in an urgent manner or it just of no use as the review will be started at the pre-specified date.... Is it clear guys??? I think the answer of this question will shed some light on the process in CHC London and if anyone has to be relaxed and send the requested documents anytime within the given timeframe as it makes no difference. Please share your experience.

hi

Normally CHC London open a file in the next B'FD ie 10-20 days after ur deadline date. or can 5-7 days b4 the deadline date.

Sending completed required doc asap is always good. there is no harm buddy

i think its clear :D

Very big congrats Zagy; my best wishes all your dread will come true. I think shortly you will join another thread, most probably discusses landing issues. But don't forget your friend here. We have been with you since longtime.

Thanks a lot my dear, how can I forget this forum. I have got all kind of support from the members of this forum. Actually it was a long wait which comes to an end. Because of this forum I was able to share my depressions, my worries and my happy moments during all this application process.

Thank you very much, may GOD bless you all.

Hi there,

My CHC is the Paris office. But I've lived in the UK before. I've sent my medicals in mid-December and I've not heard anything back yet. My friends with whom we did all the process have already received their pprs. questions:

1. should I expect a similar time frame with people who sent docs to the CHC London? could it be that my security check is now being done in the UK? (since I lived in the UK before?)
2. I've not heard anything (only they replied to my email that they have received it). Not even eCas. Can I be 100% sure that my medical has been OK and now it is the normal security check?

Thanks

hi buddy

ur processing timeline will b as per CHC paris not UK - which is faster thn UK.

most probably ur background check is going on and the delay in tht must have delayed ur process. so just wait a few days and if u dont hear, u can send the case specific email again.

all the best buddy
