Sorry my friend but I am not agree with you.
They will start sending PPRs from December 2010.
I expect that lots of people who are waiting for PPR , will receive it in December.
If they want to start to send PPR from new year , they did not mention "December 2010 / January 2011". They wrote just "January 2011".
So I believe that we will hear good news from lots of friends from first week of December.
Good luck to everyone.

Yes, I'm sure they will resume sending out PPRs in December.

But I think the new visa allocation only starts in January itself, so the PPRs sent out in December will be sent out only after the point where it would be impossible to receive your visa in 2010 (Dec 10th onwards I suspect).

Hey Zagy, good news there mate. That's first response of its kind where they have actually mentioned that next correspondance will be sent soon. Fwakeel, dont worry mate, yours is being dealt with as well as yours was under final review too. Fingers crossed for you guys.

This is the same response which CHC london was providing earlier. They will start sending PPR in Dec/Jan and as only one week left in Dec, so they changed the wording to "coming few weeks" . Start from 1st of Dec, they'll start issuing PPR so they can start visas from new year. In my opinion applicants will start getting PPR in from Dec depending on completion of security checks.

Yes , but if you are receiving your PPR before December the 15th , you can go there in person and get your visa/s before new year start.

Hi respected members
I am new to this forum and to the thread as well; I found it very interesting to me. Wish you all the best of luck and you all get what you are waiting for very sooooooon inshalah
I have a question and I would be appreciated if any expert could answer it, I have done my PPC from egypt in sept 2009 and it is now expired as the validity is only 12 months as far as I understand.so, to make things move faster and smooth as I am working in KSA and not currently live in egypt, can I get an updated PCC and submitted to London office right away or just wait until they request it????.
I am afraid that they ask for it later on and consequently I spend one month to get it out and then send it and again wait for my PPR.

If from the September 2009 till now , you did not go to Egypt , They won't request you new one.

I was in egypt from august 15,2010 till September 26,2010, and my wife was in egypt also for a week in october, and our PCC's for me and wife were done in the mid or late septemer 2009

what is the case now????

If your home country is Egypt and if they will request fresh PCC from you , yes , you should submit it.

I was kind of assuming that they wouldn't be open and available on the 30th of December.

Hi, do not submit the PCC until instructed by the VO.

Cheers.
