Hi Shibleed,
Is there any update in your case?Did you sent any e-mail to London chc?
I sent an e-mail enquiry to them to know the status of my case ,but their reply was as follows"We anticipate to send you request for passport by Jan2011".Do you have any clue why they will take so long?
I am FSW and sent medicals in JUNE2010.

I send a case specific enquiry (mail) to london office regarding my case status. I did my medicals on 25th march 2010 and i dint here anything from immigration nor any change in case status in e-cas. I send mail in last week i think on 22nd july 2010, but i didnt got any reply from them. how many days it took for u to get a reply from the immigration office. Please share ur ideas.

Hi All,
I received another reply from London Chc,which says that they will send me PPR only after Jan 2011.I realy don't know why they will take so long.Now I will better forget that I applied for PR.When I applied in June2009,I saw the advertisement that the whole process will take 6-12 months!

Have just checked our ecase and it say

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

As they have our passports does this mean they have stamped them and they are on the way back??? ;D

I have also applied for PR visa to London Visa Office. I am waiting for the direction from CHC after completing my medical test in April, 2010. I guess my application processing is delayed because I have been asked by the CHC to submit IMMIGRANT SUMMARY FORM along with the medical test results.

I am FSW and sent medicals in JUNE2010.= with LDN CHC it doesn't matter which category of applicant u r---they will deal with ur application they way they feel like----most of us r suffering with it----so, welcome aboard

Today , I received a letter from London CHC and they requested us to send 2 recent photograph for all !!!
I think they want to issue new medical :-[

I have a question. I hope someone can answer.

I am Indian citizen living in the UK, I applied for FSW in 2007 and have recently done my medical.
Now I am eligible for UK citizenship - If I apply for the UK citizenship now - I have to surrender my Indian passport.
The question is if this will impact my FSW application (i.e. will this cause any delays).

I want to apply for British citizenship - as I may have to return back to the UK due to some family problems.

I had emailed CIC - but did not get a very helpful answer.
