Nothing personal, had to complete my job contract in Dubai. Hopefully by the mid of next year i will be moving for good. I am residing in Dubai.

My address had disappeared and got the line added to my eCas "Medicals Have been received", a few days back.

My address came back, BUT, they have changed it to my Residential Address, rather than my Postal address, which is PO Box etc...

Mail is not delivered at home in Gulf countries...As you may know.

I am confused a bit, might be PPR on its way? As the couriers dont deliver on PO Box address????

Not sure if to contact VO for correcting the Mailing address, or wait??? :-\

Any tips/info anyone? Has this happened to someone else too...

Establish a mail communication channel with VO an get your mail id registered

I understand this "routine background checks" could be anything regarding my education , police reports and job experience right?[br]but my question is if that takes infinite time to reach the visa office does that mean I have to wait forever? could anyone share their experience please.

It means U R through from medical and now your security B/G checks will be started which may take 2-one year , depends..............

I was asked by email whether I want to proceed with PPR or redo the medical as my medical will be expired in March. Of course I chose to proceed . I already sent my passprt and other doc. finger crossed....

I live in AD, will the passport be sent to the embassy? or directly to me via courier?
