Friend I was in exactly same situation some time ago. My uk work permit expired last year and I went back to Pakistan. But I had informed CIC london that they can carry on with my processing as I intend to come back to UK some time next year. If you do not want to come back to UK after you go back to india then you must let CIC london know about your departure from UK.

Dont worry about e case status. My medical was submitted in march and I got my passport request in september.
My current time line is as follows.
Initial application to sydney June 09
Initial review complete Documents request to Cic london July 09
Documents submitted 30 Sep 09
Documents recieved 19th Nov
Eligibility review complete file in process Jan 10
Medical request Feb 10
Medical sent Mar 10
Passport request Sep 10
Waiting for visa Inshallah Oct 10

No change in E Case from Jan 10 "in process"

All the very best to everyone. Please share information regarding travelling to toronto for PR Card.

Also any CA or ACCA members share information about job hunt in Canada.

Thay give me same reply : file waiting for review by immigragtion office
but thay not infrom me any time line or processing time.
I hope thay review quick and give me postive ansfer

here is the updated list...........

i have removed the column 'CHC' which stated LDN as we already know that these timelines are for London CHC only

Also, i have added the column for 'number of visited countries' after receiving request to add this column from many members. so, please fill this column as it might explain the delay in getting PPR from London CHC.

plz do keep us posted with any developments from London CHC...................

Dear All

I think that most of the applicants who have been waiting for long time under CHC routine background checks umbrella had visited or lived in one or more of the following countries which is considered by CSIS as a terrorism countries as the URL shows: http://www.csis.gc.ca/pblctns/cmmntr/cm53-eng.asp

1. Syria.
2. Iraq.
3. Iran.
4. Libya.
5. Sudan.

Kindly check your list of countries that u have visited or lived in the last ten years, definitely, it will be one of the above list.

Edupolo,research shows they are based in Kenya and you can refer to the canadian high comission website for more information.

Hello,
I just asked Health Canada, and they said that they are based in Ottawa Canada, or at least that is where my Medical is at the moment being reviewed by them. Even though I am a London applicant.

2 months since my medical was sent to the London High Commission... I hope it is not much longer.

Right now , I received this reply from London CHC:
Dear Applicant,
Thank you for your message. We appreciate that you wish to arrive in Canada as soon as possible, however at this moment we do not anticipate requesting your passports for visa issuance before December 2010/January 2011.

What is that mean?
I was promised by the Minister that "Once the medical results are received and reviewed, the officer will be in a position to finalize your application without delay".

i received the same message last month n my ecase status says "Medical results have been received".
Today i received an email to submit my updated UK police certificates within 60 days. i don't know whats going on?
