not to worry. just don't tell the DMP that u r a chain smoker but do tell them that u never had any medical condition for smoking & u r just a social smoker.

I was hoping someone might be able to give me a little encouragement.

My situation is as follows.....

Skilled worker application through London using a lawyer as a representative.
Full submission sent end Nov 2009.
Medical request sent to me April 23 2010
Medical done in UK May 5th 2010
Medical sent and RPRF payment all sent to London May 14.

Current info known....Nothing. Have not heard anything as yet.

I have tried to read many posts on this thread. People seem to talk about a status or tracking. Is there anything I can do to track my medical?
I see people mention E-Cas what does these mean.

It's great to know other people are out there....

I will be moving to Vancouver once its all sorted so anyone who would like to stay in touch after, that would be great.

Many thanks for any info, advise, experiences anyone can give.

More than my joy I believe it would keep my friends hopeful. Hence I want to share this glad news. I got my PPR dated June7th; yesterday.
I always felt a change in status of some of the member as a positive sign. Ultimately I also felt that my case is also moving.

yes, longtime no talk. actuallly i am nbusy with world cup. 3 matches everyday at 12:30, 15:00 and at 19:30 UK time. so, really struggling with time ;D

nope, no staus change, no communication, nothing from LDN

i will think about it after the World cup

many congrats for the PPR

why it took so long for them to request PP? could u share with us, if u don't mind, if u had any foreign travel history or any complex issues? so that me & other members who have been waiting long as well could at least assume about when we might get the PPR?

Yeah, I too feel that my multiple foreign travel could have been the reason for this delay.

Hi Friends
Yesterday I sent an email to London CHC and asked them to update my file status.
Today they replied me that "Please note that your file was sent for its final background check on 26/5/2010. I will inform you when these have been completed".
Anybody knows what's that mean?

Hello everyone,
Been out of touch with the forumn for 2 weeks. Was on holiday to India. Congratulations to those who have received PPR and good luck to eveyone else. I will take thursday off and personally go and submit the passports to the Canadian Embassy.Will keep u guys updated on that.
