I have been selected for PR application and I need to get my medical tests done. I am in Canada on a work permit. Around 6 months ago, a family doctor prescribed me medication for high BP (as my BP was around 140-150 at that time).

Should I declare this as a medical history on the form? Would I be subjected to extra tests ? My BP is controlled with medicine now.

What will happen if I don't declare it? Please someone respond.

You should declare it if they ask you that question.

My BP will be normal as I will be on medication. So, not to complicate the matter and undergo more tests, I am asking this question as if

Yes, it is never a good idea to hide anything.

Your decision though.

Should high blood pressure be declared as 'serious medical condition' in statutory form?

The panel physician websites states that you have to take all the prescription medicines with you and your eye glasses or lenses.
