Medical Surveillance Undertaking

Hello,
My Mom's PR (under Parent/Grandparent) is under process. She had her Medical exam in Canada itself. She is already in Canada on Visitor Visa. I received an email from IRCC regarding the Medical Surveillance Undertaking. I have gone through different pages on internet including CIC web site but doesn't get the proper information.
As per CIC, when you land in Canada, you will be either given IMM 0535B or if you already have it you need to give it back to Boarder office and they will confirm your address in Canada (Part B) and then they will inform the CIC's Public Health Liaison Unit which will then contact the public health and then they will contact you for Surveillance. They will also give you the Medical Surveillance handout.

As my mom is already in Canada. It doesn't clarify the correct process for people who are already in Canada. They have email me “Medical Surveillance Undertaking” form (IMM 0535B) and Medical Surveillance handout.

What are my action now? Do we need to contact Public health or CIC public health Liaison unit will contact the public health and then they will contact us back? And what to do with form IMM 0535B ? Do I need to connect the same doctor who did her immigration medical exam?

Can any one of you please suggest?

My spouse open work permit PPR received on Feb 29th ,2024. and i sent passport to VFS for stamping.

On March 18th , I received a MEDICAL SURVEILLANCE UNDERTAKING correspondence letter from IRCC.

Question 1 : What is this letter and what is the process.
Question 2 : My spouse has valid medicals until August 1st, 2024 . But why i got this ?
Question 3 : This means need to give again new upfront medicals in INDIA ?
Question 4 : This needs to be showed at the time of port of entry ?
Question 5 : Can my spouse enter Canada and then can complete this in within 30days of time ?
Questions 6 : Can i book ticket for my spouse in this case ?

Please guide me the process

It's unusual to get OWP while the spouse being sponsored is still outland. Did you applied for outland sponsorship? Your spouse already got her TRV? The normal process is to apply OWP after AOR of the sponsorship, get the TRV, travel to Canada and apply for OWP.

This post is very confusing. I have not seen surveillance on OWP while applicant under Family Class sponsorship is outside (OP's situation is more normal. the surveillance is usually follow up after the PA is landed as PR.

So you are not a PR and sponsoring her to become PR of Canada.
Are you an international student or foreign worker? If so, you posted at the wrong section of the forum.

AND you are NOT at the same stage as the person that you were responding. The poster's mom is already inside Canada will be virtual landing to become PR.
