This is the message I received from Immigration Program Manager of Buffalo. It is very straight forward, they are working on Dec 2010 files, January 2011 will be next group. Me, for sure will be December 2011 as the soonest that I could hear from them :) Good luck Januarians

Dear Sir:

Please note that an incorrect file number has been provided. The correct file number should be EPxxxxxx. This application was received in xxxxxxxx. According to our records, we are currently processing provincial nominee applications received in December 2010 with a few from January 2011 also beginning the assessment process. Applications are not assessed on a random basis but rather in the order of receipt at our office. That being said, there is inevitably a variation in the dates on which passports are received and cases finalized.

hmmm what did you ask exactly? If that is true then we will have to wait till December/January to hear something.

I asked her if Buffalo process files randomly, or there is a standard set out to make sure applications are processed in the order of receipt. And she replied this morning. Yes, I think we will be looking at December 2011, saka.

At least now we got a trustful source and will stop hoping and guessing. All other January guys in this thread, you guys will hear from them very very shortly!

Thank you so much Truongan for the info. :)

Makes me feel sad. How bout our application OCt 2010 and nov. Most of us haven't received any update yet sine "medical result received"

Maybe Rossei is a VERY LUCKY GUY! :)

Not to undermine the Program Manager's words nor am I trying to be negative, but all applications are not processed based on dates of receipt. There are so many applicants who applied in Oct & Nov who havent heard anything whereas Jan & Feb applicants are getting PPR. I am sure it is in their Operations Manual to process applications based on date of receipt, as they would like to promote a system of equity and ofcourse this is politics and it would look better on their part if it were so, but based on what we are seeing on here and trackitt, this is not the case and applications are not processed based on D.O.R.

Rossie was a January applicant, he got PPR in Sep which is a typical timeline.

8 months processing is a norm, not a phenomenal!

& cute too 8)

The last line from Buffalo to TRUONGAN explains the exceptions: there is inevitably a variation in the dates on which passports are received and cases finalized.

I would disagree. I'm not saying anything in my favor but 8 months opposed to 13 months processing time for Buffalo makes a huge difference. As I'm seeing nowadays, the processing for 2011 applicants is getting faster and you cannot set a norm just now.

Nothing personal, just putting my thought :)

The problem is that there is no excited news for October and November 2010 applicants.

I bet they are not processing by DOR.
