My e-CAS says just 2 lines,

1. Application received on October 19,2010
2. Medicals have been received

I guess mine is the slowest case over here :/
Medical past on April 2011 .I'm still waiting for ppr. e-Cas : In process .

Here is mine

FOR RESIDENTS OF CANADA:
STANDARD PROCEDURE: The Consulate will return documents to addresses in Canada via U.S. Postal Service First Class
Mail (Regular Mail). No tracking system available. Provide a self-addressed envelope. Please note that regular mail to
Western and Eastern Canada can take up to three weeks for delivery.

CANADA POST XPRESSPOST: If you prefer Canada Post Xpresspost , please enclose with your application a PRE-PAID
Xpresspost envelope. Complete the mailing label on the return envelope showing the Windsor Post Office Box address in the
"FROM" section of the mailing label (Canadian Consulate General/IMM, 401 Ouellette Avenue, P.O. Box 940 Station “A”,
Windsor, ON N9A 6P2 CANADA. Make a note of the tracking number for each envelope.
Please note: If you choose to select this
service, your package will be sent from our P.O.Box in Windsor and will not originate in the USA..

One more question, can i send all 4 passports in 1 envelope?
Since you received PPR in different format than mine; you should follow yours and send via CanadaPost Xpresspost. The line saying "Make a note of the tracking number for each envelope" makes me think that you may have to send separate return envelope for each accompanying family member.

But it's just an assumption. So, you should throw an email to the person (whoever sent you the PPR). If it came from regular sender buffalo-im-enquiry, then reply back to them with your question. Generally, they will answer you shortly as you've already got your PPR. Good luck.

You hust have to be patient little more. You should have got it within this month. But this is almost done and don't get frustrated seeing others receiving PPR before you.

Yes Mahesari!
It does not frustrates me seeing other get PPR either, infact it gives me hope that our friends on the board who have been stuck here are finally seeing some light. I pray you get PPR soon. I see people in January getting PPR and there is some activity on their e-CAS. You should be done now, but well eventually you will get it.
Relax my friend.

Yay I am happy to see from your postings that CIC is moving real quick for Dec and Jan, giving hopes for those in later months. Again, Ms. Bailey the manager of Buffalo Immigration Dept has confirmed that this is now time for Dec/Jan - those who in doubt about how they process can rely on this information and practice a bit patience.

As of today they have probably been working on middle of January :), some shown on Ecas, while others are not. If you sent your app in January, rest assured you will hear something in a matter of a couple weeks.

About the delay for Oct-Nov 2010? I assume that is because during these months they were overloaded with applications from US-H1B AINP Category before this category was closed permanently! Buffalo tends to get more apps in the summer, fall, than in the winter months - so those with applications lodged in from Dec 2010 - March 2011 may experience faster processing.

If they can process two-months of receipt in one-month calendar then I am hoping I will hear something at the end of November or beginning of December.

I am a january applicant, with no change in my e-CAS.
Now I have noticed that the jan applicants whose file are moving are under Alberta provincial nominee. Is it something to do with the provincine labour shortage?
I know it does sound stupid, but its making me anxious that there are many october applicants on these board who have heard nothing....

Is it the case that they are processing alberta files faster then other provinces?

I must disagree! The province that is leading Canada in terms of job growth is Saskatchewan, everybody knows that. If there is province priority, that must be SK – not AB, ON, or MB. Besides, all PNP applications other than Quebec are treated equally and based on the same assessment criteria for this class. This is mainly caused by your order in queue and background checks that make your case a little behind. Note that your date of receipt has nothing to do with your position in queue, everything will be shuffled during the process if they require additional screening on your file. You may see people applied after you getting PPR before you by a few weeks or even a month.

Manitoba is the province that has approved the highest number of nominations - Manitoba has exceeded the quota allowance by federal government, followed by AB and BC (about 5000 nominations each year) and SK but AB and BC prefer nominees that already settled in Canada, or in the U.S - so there is chance that you see so many people from AB and BC getting processed in Buffalo. Manitoba takes the leading position in CHC Manila because much of the labor shortage in this province has been filled by people from Philippines.

Nowadays, with the termination of family-sponsored and U.S-employment based categories, your chance for AINP is near to zero if you apply from outside Canada. 99.9999 % of Alberta's selection are people from within the province (Alberta simply does not have an open door for foreign credentials any more). So 99.99999 % of AINP applicants with the fact that they are Alberta residents, must have their applications at Buffalo.
