Did you mail your passport to Buffalo for visa stamping?New_to_Sask said:Hi Tanoshi,
Did you get your PR card? I am still waiting for that to come by, been nearly 7 weeks now since i landed. Is there any way i can track it's progress?
We have roughly the same timelines dude, my ecas says the same thing. I THINK it used to say "We have started processing your application" and then there was the big system update around Dec 17th and it got removed after that. I could be wrong though.snowjunkie said:Hey,
Does it matter if my ECAS doesn't show a "started processing" date?
Mine shows:
Application received
Medical results have been received
If it takes a month to receive your passport from them, you may have 60 days left in your IMM Visa in order to land. They make it time-limited when your medical is going to expire soon. FYI, medicals are generally valid for a year and CIC tries to complete everything (from medical receipt to landing) within this period.pocobear6 said:The email request advised us that we have 90 days to send the passports in (like we are going to wait that long!).
HI Buddy, Please kindly give your timeline...........plzpocobear6 said:We finally got our PPR Yesterday, via email...........
We have similar timelines. But I didnt see "in process" ever in e-case,Fenster said:We have roughly the same timelines dude, my ecas says the same thing. I have no idea dude.....I could have just imagined that it said "We have started processing your application" although I'm 99% sure that it was there. I'm not too worried about it. Personally I don't think it makes too much of a difference. I was looking at trackiit and the majority of cases seem to take about roughly a year before they get PPR so I'm not expecting anything before then and if I do get it before then, I'll count myself fairly lucky.maverick.dexter said:We have similar timelines. I wonder if that really matters?
yeah thats true! I hope we get it before May!Fenster said:I have no idea dude.....I could have just imagined that it said "We have started processing your application" although I'm 99% sure that it was there. I don't think I'm going to get the GCMS. Less stress the better. It won't speed the process up for me anymore either way if you get me. I don't want to get them, find out I'm still back at the early stages and get really pissed off ya know?sharuu said:Its going be 1 year next for me since i applied, so lets see. I think there a bunch of Jan-Feb applicants still awaiting, so dont know. I have seen two different kinds of cases for being IN Process. One case where it goes In process pretty early around the time when you receive AOR and in another case just before you receive PPR. I have also seen people get PPR with status Application Received. There is no conclusive evidence that says which to follow... I think it depends on the VO. If you guys have not already I think you should get the GCMS Notes.
