Dear all, I need experts advice on my below concern.

I'm currently waiting for passport request after medical. pretty much at the last stage of FSWP 2014 applicant.

One of my passport page is slightly damaged so I want to renew my passport. However, i am confused to do it now before getting PPR request and send both passport when request come from visa office or renew it after visa stamped.
If i will do it now, will it effect to processing time ? obviously the application has been initially filed with the old passport.

I need your advise. So please help me.

Hi

You don't have to worry about anything. My case was also had the same scenerio. Normally they will update your second line with fourth line. So stop worrying and have patience.

God bless u.

Hi guys,

I'm getting worry because my medical was done about 5 weeks ago but the 3rd line don't appear in my ecas

I received my Medical Request yesterday(Saturday 08 August 2015 ) from Manila, Philippines Visa office. My status is 'In Process'. They also require the documents of Payment of the Right of Permanent Residence Fee/s (RPRF).

1) Now question about RPRF. How and where to send it? I want to know the details about RPRF. I want to pay by bank draft.
2) My passport will be expired in 2016. I want to get a new passport before landing. Will it make any problem at this stage?

The canadian embassy has received the results of my medical test. I have also paid my rprf fee through managers check. I just want to ask whether there is a way for me to know whether the managers check has already been encashed or not yet. I just want to make sure that they have received it already. I hope someone can answer my query. Thank you very much!

Seniors I need your advice.

My partners passport is going to expire on January 2016 (only 5 months remaining) and he want to go to renew it.

The issue is that we are still waiting for FBI reports to send the police certificates and I dont know if renewing the passport now can be a problem.

Here in El Salvador your new passport is ready in only 4 hours so time is no a problem, also the ID number of the passport doesn't change, so I have been thinking in renew it this week and send the photocopy by email to the Mexico Embassy before they ask us for our passports.

The reason is that I am afraid that if He doesn't renew it now, when they ask for the passport we will have only few months to travel to Canada given his passport expiration date.

What do you think, should I wait or is better if I do it now? and what is the procedure?

Thanks a lot for your help! Saludos!

Hi Elizasalaz,

I suggest you inform your partner to renew his passport now. I renewed my passport before MR and did not submit the information but the doctor's office noticed my new passport and made note of the changes in the MR documents. Later, I submitted the rest of the documents including a photocopy of the new passport, RFPR and pcc via hardcopy.

When you receive PPR and submit your passport, there is a reminder that the passport must be valid more than 6 months.

Did you receive your Medical Request via e-mail. In the e-mail, there should be instructions on where to send all the documents to. Use the address listed in the e-mail to submit your RPRF. You can also pay RPRF via credit card.

I suggest you renew your passport before emedical. When you have your doctor's appointment for emedical, inform them the change in your passport and ask them to make note of it in your e-medical. Also, include a copy of your new passport information when you send all your other documents.

Actually there is confusion with RPRF. Its not clear from CIC's end. Last week i got RPRF+Meds+PP Copies request. Other 2 was clear - but RPRF :o
I did lot of research & here's what i have done:
Used my frenz CC to pay RPRF online
surprisingly they don't ask you UCI or app number.
Once paid online - received receipt in an email I mention while paying online.
I took print out of that receipt filled in my details like UCI, DOB, Name, Address | scanned | emailed it back to my VO
Infact i emailed it to all these email addresses i found during my research:
warsaw-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca
CPC-CTD-Ottawa @ cic.gc.ca
CPPO-Cost-Recovery @ cic.gc.ca
CPCO-Cost-Recovery @ cic.gc.ca

Post online payment the only message about sending out the receipt from CIC was - please take 2 printouts of this receipt and send one to CIC.
Nowhere they say which CIC - where - email or courier - not even in the email - i read that RPRF request email 10-15 times, they r not clear.
and some members suggested me to also Courier out the PP Copies (though i already emailed), RPRF receipt & Meds confirmation....which i gonna do in couple of days - just to be sure -

Hope this helps....
