Seniors need your advise.

I've marked 60 days after MR but PPR is still pending. All other documents has been sent and RPRF paid. My application was lodged with the SVO and based on declared ave processing time in the website (40 months) and actual experience, SVO is one of the slowest visa office in terms of processing. I applied there because I'm currently based in Singapore and thought it would be more convenient. But based on current pace, it seems my application will breach the one year mark before I get the visa. I intend to move to Canada within the year and Im trying to avoid moving during the fall or winter months. Now I'm thinking if transferring to MVO (declared average processing time is 14 months) which is my home country, will help shorten my application processing time. Any thoughts on this plan?

Dear Friends,

Am I right to assume that the Visa offices will take longer time to process the PPR after MR, IF the applicant have provided few PCCs (ie: the applicant has lived in few countries so that he has to provide PCC for each country) ?

For example, My case is processing at Colombo VO and my 3rd line got updated on 23rd May. But I am living here in S'pore and because of that i had to provide both S'lanka and S'pore PCCs.

Hence, I am just wondering, Will the CVO take longer time to verify my S'pore PCC and because of that my case will drag longer compared to a person who only have one PCC to submit with the application form?

Has your 3rd line updated after your MR?

You may analyse the Globle spread sheet and find out how many days usually SGVO takes to update the 3rd line after MR.

Not necessarily so, cooldim. I had to get PCC from India and UAE and my PPR arrived in 21 days from MR. That said, my consultant had told me that it would take 2-3 months so relax, your PPR should be forthcoming.

Can you tell how long it took to show the status as 'Medical results have been received' after medical is done on CIC portal.
Especially in 2015 and if yours was eMedical enabled for online upload.

one week

Hello Friends

I need your advice on this.
I ve applied in May 2014 and finished MR in September, along with the MR receipt, RPRF and My PCC i have updated NDVO about the change in my family composition as i got married.

I received my spouse MR & RPRF on May 2015 and i have sent them on 12th May.

The problem is, my passport is due to expire in Jan 2016...

If i get PPR, how many months will the visa be valid? do i need to renew the PP and update the same to NDVO?

Pls advice

Your visa will be valid until the expiry of your passport or one year from medicals whichever is eaelier. So that means your PR visa too shall expire in Jan 2016. See if you can renew it in Tatkaal!

Hi forum members

I am freaked out to see that CIC has updated the requirements of Punjab PCC on 26th May 2015 According to which the PCC from SSP or senior police officer is acceptable. I recieved request from WVO to provide PCC from India on 13th May. At that time the PCC from Passport Seva Kendra was acceptable and I applied my PCC through Passport Seva Kendra. Now I am about to get my PCC in 1- 2 days.

I am really worried to see the update on CIC. I dont have any more time to apply for another PCC coz I have to meet the deadline of 12th June.

Please suggest what should I do? Should I mention this to CIC in my cover letter coz I applied for PCC at that time when there was no update from CIC :-\ :-\

HI i have a similar situation i am nz citizen and the third line was updated some time in first week of april that medicals have been received. Now awaiting the outcome. But i guess since the immigration will get the pcc done on their own therefore the delay .

Yes. My 3rd line came less than a week after my medical. SVO usually takes 30-45 days after receipt of medicals but I'm way past that now.

Just want to share the good news. Right after my last posting, I checked my email and got a very nice surprise. I got my PPR email this morning. For everyone who is still waiting, hang in there. I got our PPR 63 days after medical was received and 45 days after RPRF and PCC were submitted.
