flight charges depends upon the days which day and which flight u want to go
chk with online booking as per ur scheduled dates or expectred dates. u can find the cheap as well as luxury flights

sometimes they r not updating ecas, but i hope u r progressivly progressing. Soon u will get visa.

I also did my medicals on 7th May'14 and still no medicals received line added. : finders crossed!

There is no limit to carry the money. No tax is charged for the money you carry but only for the interest you earn from the money if you deposit in banks.
but you should carry as per cic requirement for nos of persons. my view is according to the knowledge i gained from this forum

Do we need to take all this at time of landing? Cash or DD or otherwise, which is cheaper and safer?

Is it possible to open Canadian$ account in some bank like Standard Chartered which has branch in both Pakistan and Canada? Will that be any useful?

Hi guys, hope everyone doing great. I need suggestion . I've received my GCMS notes and it shows that my spouse and I have passed the Medicals but my child's medical status says sent. By the time we've made our Medicals in December 2013 my son did not have medical forms yet so doctor's office created a UCI # for him and we emailed a copy of all three to CIC. Until now I don't have the third line "Medicals received" added, that's why I order GCMS notes to see what's going on. Yesterday I emailed the same medical information sheet to CIC again asking to find it.
My question is should I go ahead and do for my child a new medical, this time with the real medical form or give them time to find it?
Bdw according to GCMS my criminality check was still not started but 3 weeks ago they asked me for police certificate from a third country which I sent last Monday. Of course that was not on GCMS notes. Thanks

Its not Mandatory that ""Medicals Received"" Line appeared .....have you paid landing fee ????? if yes then soon you will listen a good news ...about your son medical specifically do an email to your visa office .......

as much as you want to..the bare min must be there with you in any case...the first time money is not taxed

In cash only 10000 dollars per adult.....in Draft as much as you can and that is not taxable and have to declare at Airport in Canada

there is no retriction to the cash by them..the restriction is that you to declare oroactively if u r carrying more than ten k cad

But here in Pakistan you cannot carry more than 10000 dollars cash........

Yes, I paid all fees and it shows all received. The question is that they can't find my child's Medicals which was made upfront. Any thoughts?
