Hi all
Happy for those who got their Visas and praying for the rest

I did medicals in April 17 ,2013 and line added on May 10,2013, so I think its considered expired by now although I sent email earlier telling VO that I can move in very short notice.
What do you think guys now will the remedical be late? and how long after remedical will we get ppr?
Its getting really painful since we completed 4 years since applying and 2 years exactly since processing started.
All responses are welcomed and help us pass this waiting time.

vo can extend Medicals for three months, it seems u have to have re-medicals, just check GCMS where u will understand the case current position. when did they askked u updated documents. fom that time they should do all necessary formalities with in one year.

Finally! My E-cas status changed to Decision Made this morning!

However, I did not receive PPR e-mail. Is this normal?

We received your application for permanent residence on June 12, 2013.

We started processing your application on April 18, 2014.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

He has not received passport request.. His status has been chaged to "Decesion Made". How it can be possible unless he is from visa exempt country.. :O
Even for visa exempt countries VO is asking for updated inforamation chart & pictures...

Hi Friends,

What I have noticed in last 4 years is that ECAS status is not always correct and doesn't show the exact stage of your application.

Example: for one applicant in this forum the status for RECEIVED BY VO for three years. All of the sudden she got medical request, and new line was added to ECAS:

Medical Results Received

after few days another line was added: Your application was reviewed and we started processing on DATE

According to CIC guidelines, In Process comes first and then Medical Request. According to CIC official guidelines MR comes in Decision Made Stage. In my personal case nothing was in sequence.

Don't worry, this happens a lot. Now it will change to "decision made", once your passport is stamped and then to "complete" once you land.
