Are you the sponsor or the applicant?
I sponsored my husband and now I am unable to log into my ecase because my side of the application is completed so now we can only view hubby side online.

I have a question please advise or suggest... I have final medical done on December and send on beginning of January by my DMP. I am still waiting already 4 months no update.

My application started from 2010 still in progress.
Destination : Quebec

Anyone in similar situation ??

As your background checks are in process, they will wait till completion of the checks, before issuing a second medical.

Transfer between visa office can slightly delay your case. However they do this to distribute the Visa Offices' workload, not because of any issue with your file.

Background checks take longer if you or any of your dependents have lived in more than one country or served in the military. However I have seen many members who have never traveled but have had their background checks on for many years.

hello we're one of those that you have mentioned "..have never traveled nor have served in the military yet background check takes so many years.." our visa office is in Manila, Philippines, our Medical have been expired for 2 year, and no emails has been received from the visa office despite of several inquiries.

I think its 4 years and 1 month as per his time line...

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

Dear Nekeol,

He has not received passport request.. His status has been chaged to "Decesion Made". How it can be possible unless he is from visa exempt country.. :O
Even for visa exempt countries VO is asking for updated inforamation chart & pictures...
Correct me if I am wrong..

Hi all
Happy for those who got their Visas and praying for the rest

I did medicals in April 17 ,2013 and line added on May 10,2013, so I think its considered expired by now although I sent email earlier telling VO that I can move in very short notice.
What do you think guys now will the remedical be late? and how long after remedical will we get ppr?
Its getting really painful since we completed 4 years since applying and 2 years exactly since processing started.
All responses are welcomed and help us pass this waiting time.
