Finally,
I recieved my passport with the Visa on Friday, Oct. 18 at 3pm and I landed at 6pm on the same day. The immigration jouney lasted exactly 40 months + 11 days.

One small doubt - your timeline has medicals done in May'12 meaning your medicals should have expired in May this year. Did you go for a re-medical?

No, CIC did not ask me to redo the medical, I guess because I had not left Canada after that time.

As per my knowledge it may take 3 weeks to update. Sometimes it never update but hope you will get communications directly from them.
I too canceled my representative as he has not replied me since 2-3 weeks he has to fill forms and guide me for medical but he provided me medical forms and now never communicated to me. I took previous forms filled it in same manner and submitted all with cancelation of Representative...Although my DD of RPRF encashed in previous week but yet the e-case is not updated with new address.

I cancel my consultant few weeks ago but ecase still shows my consultant address also i received updates via consultant what it means why i am not getting any updates on my email. when and how often ecase get update?
Please give me some light on this matter.

If you already sent the IELTS at the time of application, they won't ask you to take it again.

if ur eligibility passed and got marks 67 approved then no need ielts , otherwise after 2 year they can ask again. but 2010 case already eligibility passed no need again

you have to proove that you are living legally and nothing more.
if u r in canada they can directly access your all status, therefore don't worry all is OK. you must keep yourself legal resident of Canada or country where u r resident

I need opinion of senior forum members. 3rd line (Medicals have been received)was added in my case on 29 May2013 but no passport request yet. I sent an email to London office 2 days back and I received an answer today " your application is awaiting review of immigration officer".
What does it mean ? Are my background checks complete and when should I expect passport request.
