'Medical results have been received' and Waiting for PPR

I need opinion of senior forum members. 3rd line (Medicals have been received)was added in my case on 29 May2013 but no passport request yet. I sent an email to London office 2 days back and I received an answer today " your application is awaiting review of immigration officer".
What does it mean ? Are my background checks complete and when should I expect passport request.

Yes dear, yr background checks almost completed
Expect 2-3 months to get PPR

Security and criminality not started(gcms received 17 sep 2013).
3rd line added on 10 OCT 2013.finally Is background checks been done before

next step is you will get PPR. if you have travel history it might take longer to get PPR normal time 3 to 6 months and to complete security and criminality. in such cases medical also expire .

Hi, I need some advise... My VO is London however based in GCC. I received my medical request last Sept 2013 and had done it this month. However the accredited hospital told me that they sent the medical results in India. They have informed me that all medicals done in GCC regardless of which VO, they have to send all medicals in India. They said it started last August. Is this true?

Hello Peers,

Hope you are doing well!

I have sent my passport for Canada VISA stamping on 28th of Sep-2013 in FSW category 1111 to CHC, New Delhi.

However, the DD for revised landing fee was sent on 14th of October-2013

We have had sent the DD for initially requested amount of landing fee, which our consultant did not submit initially with other documents.

I work in Gulf country & my leaves are over on 16th of October. I have also attached leave permit letter from my current employer along with requested documents sent to CHC.

Please help me in understanding the below:
1) How long will it take for me to get the VISA stamped?
2) Is there any way I can request passport back & send it back after resuming duties in the Gulf.

Request you to please guide.

Finaaalllllllyyyyy all the suspense, wait, pain comes to end and the preparation for the new struggle starts, recvd our passports with maple leaf y'day, another friend of mine with similar timeline also recvd his passports y'day.was a silent reader on the forum, Thanks to one and all who have been part of this journey, we are from hyderabad......

Ecas status changed to DM on Oct 17th and recvd passports on Oct 24th

I was out of the the forum for a while, i recieved PPR1 on 2 Sept 2013 and I sent the documents on 7 sept, recieved by Abu Dhabi VO on 9 sept 2013, and after that i m waiting for ppr2 but no news, i don't knw why it delay at this stage plz any1 has any idea,,,,,,,,

so u got PPR2 just waiting 4 passports, and i m still waiting for ppr2, its vry long now many ppl recieve their ppr2 n vry lesst amount of time i don't understand y is the delay at this stage,,,,,,as its clearly mention in ppr1, that in 6 weeks v'll send u ppr2 but 6 months passed but no news ,,,,,,,i m getting tense now,,,

Hi,

I received my PPR 1 today via email! I've couple of questions which needs to be addressed urgently!

Q1) I'm working in Dubai rite now and my wife is in Khi. I updated CHC in June 2013 after sending medicals that I've moved to Dubai but they have sent me the instructions of PPR-1 for Islamabad! Now my question is that should I remind them that I've moved to Dubai and living here so they can send the other instruction letter?

Q2) My wife is in khi and she doesn't have residence of UAE so when PPR-2 arrives so should I call her here and apply to local Canadian Immigration Office or should I go bk to Pak and then send my passport to Islamabad?
