share your time line please

I have recently joined the forum and noticed that you and I share the same category and NOC. I also applied in Oct 2009, docs request was in March 2010 and we had our medical on the 16th of August 2012. But my ecas still shows "In Process" and we have not heard from CIC since then. Please share your opinion.

Hi hope786,

I believe the delay and long wait time is not only happening to pakistani people.

I am from Brazil and have lived the past 6 years in the USA and have been waiting for PPR since august last year.
When they issued my medical request they also requested Royal Canadian Mounted Police clearance, because I lived in Canada in 2002-2003. RCMP took 4 full months to process my fingerprints. Then back in may they requested another FBI clearance because the one i sent with my application was over a year old. Its been two weeks since i sent the new FBI clearance and i havent heard anything from them.

As you can see, the hole system is backed up and its driving me crazy......

Guys share your stories, after medicals, have they requested for updated documents or police reports?

Yes dear you are right...i also mentioned in post that if you have extensive travel history....specially for USA and Canada you case may be delay and take 6 months time......

Singapore visa office( File shifted to Sydney). MI3 applicant..received MR +RPRF +PCC on 13th May 2013..now waiting and praying like others :)

Correct, RPRF also requested with medicals and RCMP PCC. I just thought they could've saved me time by requesting RCMP anf FBI PCC at the same time. My medicals expire Aug 30th, + 3 months extension hopefully. Why really concerns me is that my status in the US expires in March 2014....i'm really praying for this to be over by then.

Anyone here with NOC 3113?

guys,

those having rcmp clearance requests opt for electronic finger printing - its processed in 72 hours as compared to 4 months done through manually

It says on the RCMP website that electronically fringerprints are only accepted if the person is in Canada. If you are outside, they will only accept paper ones.

YES agree - my quote for candidates in Canada .

Yes clearance from India does take quite long

Hi All,

I have got the medical request letter through email on 16 May and yesterday (29 June) I completed my medical exam. As my wife is pregnant, she didn't do the X-ray. I will send the PCC & RPRF Pay Order within this week.

Best of luck to you all!

Regards,
Fuad
