FYI - CPP-O is overwhelmed with files I know many cases whereby mr done in May 2012 and no ppr yet.

OTTAWA released an update recently that the will close onto applications end of this year batch wise

so basically your consultant or a a lawyer or you cannot do anything on a file - u just have to wait

But i think hire Representative and removed that may put overhead on visa office on ur file BUT may be its also possibility will trigger your file on fast process , all the best..

One of my friend waiting for her visa (After MR) for 2-3 months and then she got married mean while she updated her case and suddenly her husband got MR next day and visa in 1 month.
Yes i know every case is different but her process was SUPERFAST , she applied in march13 and got visa on Sept-13, Just in 5-6 months.
My case is same as her , we applied in same NOC , experience and month..But difference is ONLY TRAVEL history .She don't have and i have 2-3 times travel.

Yes, You need to send the copy of receipt for renewal of passport

Send it by courier and plus attach copy of receipt on web form for CSE explaining the situation

It will delay ur case but will be accepted

As per approach one Security Background checks over...waiting for file que or Batch or Visa qouta.....

As per second approach Security Background checks still going on.......if the Travel history consist in for more then one country........As per this approach it can take maximum six months and this time is over......

In my opinion Month of May is very important for you....wait for right time and hope for the best......

Today I have recd call from ndvo regarding my employment verification. I am on leave today & first they call on office reception & my office reception guy just join& he says to say he don`t know me. Then. They call me put some questions
I will give answers accordingly
Pls suggest this negative feedback from my office to ndvo they rejection my file or they give time to jusify this

A 2006 applicant here (Beijing office). I've just got my passports back with maple leafs. ;D
Timeline:
2013-01-23 Med request, PPR and RPRF
2013-01-30 Sent med reports, passports and RPRF
2013-05-30 Decision made
2013-05-25 Visa issued
2013-06-05 Passports returned.
I wish all the guys who share similar fates all the best!

PPR depends upon security, no timeframe can be expected

verification most probably not required, normally it is done prior to be start of In Process, but only rarely cases might be possible, but u r at safe 90% safe side. nekeol

You need to inform them that renewal of passport will take approx 2 or 3 months and they will act accordingly

Hi!, got my 3rd line, medicals received on ECAS without any date mentioned but I assumed in October because September 2012 is our deadline...til now, no ppr/visa notice, only reminder from the manila embassy to attend CIIP and recently COA, after I and also my agency made inquiry...my medicals started last July 2012 and I am the principal applicant. already attended CIIP and will attend COA soon.
