Why medicals from Pakistan are sent to NDVO ? can anyone define the process

Your application and supporting documents were received by the London England office. They are pending review.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on April 25, 2012. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Medical results have been received.
Line added on 19th Feb 2013. but i sent the police certificate RPRF draft and Schedule A new 2 days ago.

Now My question is what things are involved under background checks? What is criminality? and what is security? Please guide me.

It looks your and my time lines are almost same and we are under same NOC. By the way I am from BD as well. I wish a very happy life in Canada.

Now CIO have installed new MIS system call "GCMS 4.0", in whcih they started E-Medical through which it is possible to enter all medical record in system instead of sending medical to Otawa, Canada for entering into the system...that's why they divided world in Regions, in Asia New Dehli is Regional Medical Office for entering information into the system....that's why our DMP send medical to NDVO and after entering the information all the regions can access the information.....and speed up the process.....

I am not sure about Criminality check but i think this is based on PCC that you provided......as well as Security check is concern....that is very lengthy process some time started before Medical some time after Medical....This is very time consuming process and average 4 months are required for this process....but as in 2013 LVO work very rapidly and it is possibility that your Security check initiate early.....

Due to installation of new system GCMS 4.0 now a day many errors reports.....but this is normal behavior don't worry.....as you received "Medical Results have been received" this is different things its not necessary that said line should added after PCC+Add Docs+RPRF.....this line indicate that your medical is approved and seconded by Otawa, and you are 90% approved on they received add docs and RPRF and wait for your security checks.....this is your final stage.......and I think within two month you will receive your PPR....so Cheer my bro....

I just checked my ecase status and found this extra line "Medical results have been received."

my medical received on 4th March 2013. Doest it means my medical passed?
and what are the next steps

Please guide me.
