'Medical results have been received' and Waiting for PPR

I applied for Quebec skilled worker and I applied my application inside of Canada, Montreal.

The main application recevied 24th Oct, 2012.

I got my medical exam on 4th Jan, 2013 and I did my medical exam on 9th Jan, 2013.

And I checked my status, I saw my third line" Medical exam has been received'.

I'm still waiting for the request of my passport.

Same question i asked to Qorax....he told me that eventhough Security Background check completed our file is stuck up in old Backlog case, File Que and some time Quota.....there is one other catch....all the times our files process in Batch....whenever our batch start ....we srart receiveing PPR request...

Hi the same with our local visa office, we are very much affected with the backlog issue... our medical results will soon expire next month (May 23, 2013) we've made several follow up thru email and cse but have not received any reply from CEM (canada embassy in manila). "Med. Rcvd " line appeared in our ecas September of last year. I think we will be expecting a Re medical letter fro CEM instead of PPR ???!!!

dear all
today i received PPR1 from LVO. interestingly my ecas was never updated with medical received line.
i got GCMS today as well.
there r a few observations which u might find of some help.
the GCMS retrieval date was 15th March 2013.
till tht date medical and security was still pending.
though i did medicals on 20th Dec 2012 but i think my med result didnt reach LVO until i confirmed them on 21st march tht i have done medicals through IOM receipt and courier delivery report which was given by IOM.

now if the security check starts only after medical have been received n approved it took them 10 days approx to complete those checks in my case. i think it is unlikely and security checks is part of the background checks which commence right after the issuance of medicals.

You should contact them at 9:00 to 9:30 AM you will easily contact them at this time....some time its very busy but keep trying....and some time telephones on recording....in which they provide email address for appointment

At this time should apply for GCMS notes to check the status of your application........

Is the visa office holding your passport for all this while as well?

welcome to the forum. though hope786 has already addressed ur queries here is my input.
1. just in case the IOM doesnt pick up the phone email them at mhd.islamabad@iom.int
2. medical is a pretty straight forward procedure. like xrays, blood test, urine test, and physical checkup. everyone advisee to drink loads of water and little exercise prior to the medicals.
3. the medical results goes to to new delhi.
