'Medical results have been received' and Waiting for PPR

Dear All,

I submitted my passports on 22nd Apr 2014 but still no reply yet, i submitted my original passports to my consultant handling my case and they send my original passports to London office through DHL service, any time frame limit for passport with visa stamp from london office? is this usual time or something unusual, please suggest.....

usually it take 20 days almost 3 weeks, but in yoru case it will take 4 weeks as one week for the consultant delays. Hoefully u will get PP in the next week or end of this week

1) Time to get request for passports?
2) What minimum funds should I take along with me for landing in Canada as a permanent resident along with my family? My family consists of my wife and 03 kids; all kids are under 6 years of age.

medical line is not a guide for PP request, PP request comes after MR, Security, and full file completion. some time medical expires and still waiting for PPR.
funds required are approximate $22,000 Canadian Dollers for 4 person family irrespective of kids or adults.
he amount of money you need to support your family is set by the size of your family. We update these amounts every year.

Thanks Nekeol for your reply, my consltant submitted my passpots same day when i submitted to them. They gave me DHL tracking number and as per tracking number my passport recieved at london office on 23rd APR.

I have just received PPR 1 through email. I am residing in abudhabi now on residents visa.

JIMI 2, have they asked you to cancel your UAE residency? I have read in couple of threads that CIC is asking for the cancellation of the UAE residency. Thanks.

No ,
They have never asked for cancellation of UAE residence. I received PPR1. I informed them that i am residing in abudhabi. they immediatly responded that they will give me visa from their Abudhabi office

Not at all. They never asked this even I got our visa.

No one can guess .......if background check has been done before medical then you should expect PPR1 within month after line appeared ........if background checks are started with medical request then you may expect in next 4 months...................
