Medical & Police Clearance Certificate

Guy - I am Pakistani working in Saudi Arabia, I checked on CIC site that medical is not required for Saudi Residents, but I am not sure about Police Clearance Certificate. On CIC site they say it is not required for basic student visa. My program is Global Business Management from Humber and I am required to complete 320 hours Co-op. Please suggest if I need to submit police clearance certificate or not.

Also about bank statement, do I have to show funds in my bank for whole course of study or is it okay if I show bank funds for 1 semester in my account and for 1st semester I would pay? In total 2 semester.

Please share your knowledge and experience.

Your passport must be from Pakistan correct? In that case it'd be better to get a PCC from the address shown on your passport. Even if the PCC from Saudi is optional, if you are still a Pakistani citizen, you should need a PCC from Saudi. As you program duration is more than 6 months, its better to get the PCC done beforehand than to face issues after submitting the application.

As for the funds, I believe you need to show funds for your entire duration of stay. If not the ful amount, you need a notorised affidavit from a close relative, stating that they are willing to sponsor you. Hope this helps!
