Hi
I would like to apply for TRV for my parents in NEW DELHI. My parents are going to visit only for 2 months in Canada. I have below queries.

1. Do we need to submit medical insurance paper along with TRV application?

OR

2. Can we buy medical insurance after getting Visitor visa?

Please advice as early as possible.

1) No
2) Yes

I don't believe it is legislated to but medical insurance for a visitors visa but lately I have found Citizenship and Immigration Canada are asking for proof of insurance before they approve a visitors visa. I would suggest you buy insurance before you submit your application, this will also increase the chances of being approved faster. It is also a smart thing to do without insurance you will personally be liable for all medical expenses in the event of a medical emergency.
