Medical Inadmissibility Due to Family Member with Autism - Policy Update

Hello! I have read from CIC website that effective June 1, 2018, threshold for excessive demand was tripled from CAD 6k + to CAD 19k+ thus allowing families with family member with special needs to be granted with PR. I just want to know if someone from this forum has already benefited from this latest policy update regarding medical inadmissibility. TIA.
