MEDICAL - IMM 1017

Hello , I am applying for Spousal Visa for my wife. In check list it says ( Copy of Medical Report: Client Biodata and summary (IMM 1017), Signed by the pannel Physician)

But when my wife got her medical done in Ludhiana India, she was just handed a e tracking with a UMI # ..

It sounds like your wife did an up-front medical (i.e. she got one done before you sent off the application and were requested to do so by CIC). Did she get an e-medical?

I did an e-medical as well prior to sending our application (done in New Zealand), and the doctor's office just gave me a sheet with my details and the tests that were done, confirming that I did in fact have the medical done. I sent that sheet in the application and CIC contacted the doctor's office directly for the results.

If you got the sheet from the Dr, just send it along with everything else and you should be all good. You should only need IMM1017 if CIC request you to do a medical AFTER you've already submitted your application.

With the outland spousal pr application, is the medical examination meant to be done before submitting all the forms? Or do I submit all the evidence/docs and forms then wait for CIC to ask for medical? Confused ???
My husband will be doing it from australia

All Outland Applications require an upfront medical.
