Hi guys,
I am an Indian citizen who has been living in the Netherlands for the past 5 years. I am moving to Canada to pursue a PhD and I have applied for a study permit.
According to the list of countries provided by Canada: Netherlands does not require a medical exam but India does.
According to this page: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/medical-police/medical-exams/requirements-temporary-residents/country-requirements.html
If you’re applying to become a temporary resident of Canada, you must have a medical exam if you:
Do you think I need to do a medical exam or it is not required?

If you’re applying to become a temporary resident of Canada, you must have a medical exam if you:
- want to come to Canada for more than 6 months and
- have lived or travelled for 6 months in certain countries or territories in the year before you come to Canada - Does this mean consecutively living in the country for 6 months in the last year or even a shorter visit?
Do you think I need to do a medical exam or it is not required?
