Medical for EE

Hey I am in Edmonton too, I called one of the panel physicians here. I have managed to book an appointment for coming week; however, she asked me to bring bio data form along with other required documents. I am not sure how to get this form from CIC, since it is a file specific form. Earlier they use to send in this form which already includes your personal details with file number. Now that they want us to do up front medical, I am not sure how to proceed.

Does anyone have any idea about how long it takes to receive a medical report back? I'm aiming to get selected in the next draw or two and I need to have all documents ready so I wanted to look into getting the medical done in preparation.

When i called the clinic today the woman told me 10 to 15 business days.

Are you allowed to get the medical done before the invite? On the CIC website is says you have to wait for the invite before getting the exam done. I'd like to get it done early as well, but if it's dated before the IVA will they still let you use it?

i called the same clinic..she told i need the form and to call cic to check how can i get it... looks like this people are not updated about the new pr process!!

Ok let's check another clinic tomorrow morning if they do up front medical. How about your other documents?

Most of them...but i still need to translate police clearance and proof of employment from back home...and you??

EE is already requesting Medical Exam, but when I tried to book one they said i need to bring with me the IMM1017B form. But EE is not giving me this form, plus in CIC website they say that the physician should have this form, anyhow the clinic told me i should be able to download this form and that they cannot do medical exams without that form, so I'm kinda confused...anybody knows how this is gonna work with express entry? Thanks!!!!

Does principal applicant only needed a medical exam?And how about for spouse and dependent child?

I am not sure how much mine is charging, I was just too consumed with making the appointment that I forgot to ask; however, I had to pay a deposit of $50 when I made the appointment.

As for the photo spec, it is listed under the help section which will show when you click on the "?" icon. Another option is to go to a photo lab and have your photo taken there. The people who work there knows the spec and sizes of the photo needed for immigration application, if not just bring along the measurements and they will do it for you.

Why would they care? The report just needs to be dated within 12 months when they assess the application, the reason they are advising you wait for an ITA is because they don't want people spending the money if they aren't going to be selected for an ITA soon.

So i called CIC, and they told me that i'm right..that when you do an upfront medical exam i dont need any form, and the doctor will provide me with this form when i finish the exam, they said i should try to contact another clinic listed in their website.
The price is usually 500 dollars!!
