I'm applying outland (London, UK), but happen to be in Canada on a trip for more than 30 days.
I received an email requesting my biometrics and a medical (within the next 30 days) for myself.
I've also received a medical request for my 6 year old child. My kid was born outside Canada (in the EU), but has a Canadian citizenship cert and Passport.
I've sent immi an email but they seem backed up, so I'm not confident I'll get a reply in time.
1) I've assumed that I can just get my biometrics and medical done while I'm in Canada at one of the locations listed, and that won't cause any problems with an outland application?
2) Have they just made a mistake asking for a medical for my kid? The child has an absolute right to move to Canada as a Canadian citizen, and I don't want to pay extra for a medical they don't actually need. Or is it common to ask for one if they are Canadian citizens born outside Canada?
Thanks
