Medical Exams - Cuba

Can anyone tell me whether my Cuban fiance will need an appointment for medical exam and police certificate in Havana or can we just go there without one? Also how long should we plan on being in Havana for this? Thanks

It is always to a good idea the panel physician's clinic to call them and ask for an available appointment.
For my medical exam i was told i need to wait for 2 weeks. About the police certificate it is better you contact the address and telephones indicated by CIC. If it is close to you, you can walk in.

For the medical exam it should not take more than 1 or 2 days, for the police certificate you need to apply it in person, they will collect finger prints and will tell you when to come back for the certificate some countries will mail it to your home address.

Hi,

Hubby will need to phone and make an appointment. Medicals are done over 2 days. Cost is 405 CUCs payable in cash at Metropolitano Bank in Havana. If there is a dependent child noted in your application be prepared to do the medical for them too. Cost is 205 CUCs for 11 yr old and under and 405 CUCs for 12 yrs and older

The panel physician has all the papers required.. Your hubby needs to bring the required amount of photos, and it is a good idea to bring his Medical history as well as his immunization records from his family doctor to the medical in Havana
